Joe McDonough trombone

Joe McDonough is a freelance jazz trombonist living in New York City. He performs and has recorded with the Grammy winning Christian McBride big band, was featured with the Boston Symphony Pops Orchestra, and has aired on Good Morning America twice. As an educator, Joe is on the faculty at Temple University. He has been brought in to conduct workshops with Jazz at Lincoln Center and The Juilliard School. Originally from the Philadelphia area, Joe stays active on the scene there as a member of the Jazz Orchestra of Philadelphia (JOP), under the direction of Terell Stafford. Joe has had the privilege of performing with Jimmy Heath, Clark Terry, Benny Golson, and Herbie Hancock, among others.
